arcé studios and Cowgirl have a shared foundation that’s built on a deep interest of timeless clothing and objects. Yet on both sides the classic indigo denim jacket remained untouched. This felt like the ultimate opportunity to collaborate on a comfortable iteration that fits today’s landscape, without losing hints of the past and attention to detail. The Cowgirl T2 Jacket is a small batch, made-to-order project that is made by us in the atelier one jacket at a time.

the fabric used for this project is a 13 oz 3/1 100% cotton ring slub selvedge denim. the dead-stock fabric is woven on shuttle looms in japan and has a beautiful deep indigo hue that almost looks black. Extra attention: Please be aware that the natural indigo may bleed on to other surfaces. This is part of the natural beauty of the fabric and will become less after wear and wash. This will give the garment its unique character along the way.

The jacket is made one at a time in arcé’s atelier in Europe, The Netherlands. Each pattern has been hand-drafted, fabric cut, then constructed one jacket at a time. An intentional and slower process to a timeless wardrobe.
